Refund & Exchange Policy – Algodón Kids

At Algodón Kids, we care about your experience as much as we care about comfort and quality for little ones. If something doesn’t fit, we’ll help you find the right size.

Exchanges Only
    •    We only offer exchanges for different sizes of the same clothing item.
    •    Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
    •    Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

How to Start an Exchange
    1.    Email us at return/exchange@algodonkids.com with your order number and the size you’d like instead.
    2.    Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions.
    3.    After receiving your unused item, we’ll ship out the correct size.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at return/exchange@algodonkids.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll take care of it right away.

Non-Exchangeable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
    •    Socks, underwear, swimwear, or hair accessories
    •    Gift cards
    •    Items marked as Final Sale

Shipping Policy — Algodon Kids

TL;DR: Free standard shipping in the U.S. on orders $50+ (after discounts, before taxes). 

Where We Ship
    •    United States: We ship to all 50 states, P.O. Boxes, and APO/FPO/DPO where carrier allows.
    •    International: If/when we open this up, duties/taxes are paid by the customer and aren’t included at checkout. (If you don’t ship internationally, delete this line and the section below.)

Processing Times
    •    Orders are typically packed within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays).
    •    Sale periods, drops, preorders, and handmade items may need extra time. If timing changes, we’ll note it on the product page.

Delivery Speeds (Estimates)
    •    Standard: Usually 3–7 business days after shipment within the U.S.
    •    Expedited options: Quoted at checkout (if available to your address).
Tracking details will be emailed once your order ships.

Shipping Costs
    •    $50+ (after discounts, before taxes): Free standard shipping in the U.S.
    •    Under $50: Real-time rates shown at checkout.
    •    Expedited shipping (when offered) is always a paid upgrade.

Order Changes & Addresses
    •    Double-check your shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, re-shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
    •    Need an edit? Email us ASAP—we can help only before the order ships.

Split Shipments
    •    To get items to you faster, we may ship parts of your order separately. You’ll get tracking for each package.

Lost, Delayed, or “Delivered” but Missing
    •    Start by checking with neighbors, building management, mailroom, and any parcel lockers.
    •    If the carrier marked it delivered but you can’t find it, contact the carrier first (they can see scan GPS data).
    •    Still stuck? Email us and we’ll help file a trace/claim with the carrier.

International Shipping (if enabled)
    •    Duties, taxes, and import fees are charged by your country and are not included in our prices or shipping fees.
    •    International delivery times vary by destination and customs. Shipping fees are non-refundable for refused or returned international packages.

Preorders & Backorders
    •    Estimated ship windows will be listed on the product page. Your card may be authorized/charged at checkout; the item ships once it’s ready.

Carrier & Liability Note
    •    We partner with major carriers (e.g., USPS/UPS/FedEx). Once a package is in the carrier’s hands, transit timing is out of our control—but we’ll always back you up with tracking and claims support.
